March Nebraska FAIRtax Meeting

Monday, March 12 at 6:30 PM – 8 PM
Pizza Ranch
3010 South 84th Street, Omaha, NE  68124

UPDATE!  We have adjusted our schedule so proven fiscal conservative and taxpayer advocate, Bill Kintner, can join Kris Pierce to talk about issues that matter to taxpayers.

Kris Pierce, Certified County Assessor, will discuss the nature of property taxes in Douglas County as well as how the offices of the Assessor and Register of Deeds work. There are several sources of tax revenue in Nebraska, and property taxes are a major one.

A recent FAIRtax convert, Bill Kintner will talk a little about the Sarpy County Assessor’s Office but more about his four year fight in the Unicameral to control spending, reduce taxes, and reign in burdensome regulations — and the impact they have on taxpayers.

Agenda:

1. Registration (6:15 – 6:30)
2. Dinner
3. Intro – Rob Rohrbough, President (7:00)
4. Kris Pierce
5. Bill Kintner
6. Wrap up (8:00)
